Call logs
The call log is where every call your agent handled — inbound or outbound — is listed and fully expandable. Open any call to read its transcript, play the recording, see the AI summary, the data the agent collected, the sentiment and goal-met read, and exactly what it cost in ₹. This is the flagship view for understanding what your agent is actually doing on the phone.
What the list shows
Each call is one row. At a glance you see:
- Direction — inbound (someone called you) or outbound (Vio dialed).
- Duration — how long the call ran.
- Timestamps — when it started.
- Outcome — one of Successful, Missed, Failed, or Escalated.
- Live indicator — a call in progress shows a live badge with a streaming transcript you can watch as it happens.
Caller numbers are masked in the list for privacy — you’ll see a partially hidden number rather than the full digits.
What’s inside a call
Expand a row and you get the full record of that conversation:
| Detail | What it is |
|---|---|
| Transcript | The conversation turn by turn, agent and caller. |
| Recording | Audio playback of the call. |
| AI summary | A short generated recap of what happened. |
| Cost | The ₹ total for the call, plus a per-component breakdown. |
| Extracted variables | The fields your agent collected on the call — see Variables. |
| Analysis | Sentiment, a conversation-quality score, and Goal met / not met with a reason — see Analysis, actions & fulfilment. |

Select Call logs in the sidebar. The most recent calls are at the top; a live call shows its streaming transcript in real time.
Filter by outcome
Narrow the list by outcome — for example, show only Escalated calls to review handoffs, or only Failed calls to chase telephony issues.

Recordings and transcripts are caller PII. Vio stores them privately, scoped to your workspace — never in a public bucket and never shared across tenants. Only your workspace can open them.
Some calls may show ₹0. Cost is tracked for calls placed through Vio’s in-house voice path. Older calls, or calls handled by a different backend, may not have cost data and will display ₹0 — it doesn’t mean the call was free, only that its cost wasn’t captured.
Frequently asked
Q. Why does a call show ₹0? Because its cost wasn’t tracked. Per-call cost is recorded for calls on Vio’s in-house voice path; older or other-backend calls can show ₹0. Newer calls show the full ₹ total plus a component breakdown.
Q. Where are recordings and transcripts stored? Privately, scoped to your workspace. They’re treated as caller PII — never placed in a public bucket, never shared across tenants. Only your workspace can access them.
Q. Why are caller numbers masked? For privacy. The list masks caller digits so a shared screen or exported view doesn’t expose full personal numbers.
Q. Can I export call data to my own systems? Yes — use the results webhook. Each finished call can be pushed to your CRM or spreadsheet automatically. See Analysis, actions & fulfilment.
